Our company was founded by Kevin Sullivan. With a Bachelors Degree in Finance from the University of Missouri in 1981, he started working in the horticulture industry in 1985 at Hermann Engelmann Greenhouses in their sales department. After spending 5 years marketing indoor foliage plants...he ventured into the brokering business with S.S. Skidelsky in 1988. After working for a larger company, he decided to become an entrepreneur and started KPS Sales, Inc. Michael Sullivan joined the company in January 1993 as a partner. He graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Affairs in 1985. He spent his summer vacations from college working in nurseries during in the early 80's and got the nursery 'bug'. His first professional horticultural sales experience was with the Verlite Company. A manufacturer of soilless media mixes based in Tampa, Florida for 4 1/2 years. His primary responsibility includes sales and support in north and central Florida, Arkansas, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. Jo Mashburn, (Office Manager) joined the company in 1998 after working for a large nursery growing landscape material. She has been a part of team for over 18 years. She handles the daily operation of the office including availabilities, purchase orders and invoicing. She is available 7am - 4pm EST Monday-Friday.
